About @ksbigbass

About Me Early mornings, topwater blowups, and heavy cover—these are what get me up before dawn, rod in hand and heart racing. My name’s John, but most folks know me online as @ksbigbass. Bass fishing isn’t just a pastime for me—it’s a way of living. My Fishing Journey I’ve spent years chasing bass across Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma, carving out a ā€œpower finesseā€ style that’s a little unorthodox but gets big bites and even bigger stories.

Buddy Tournament Fishing is it for You?

Buddy Tournament Fishing is it for You? The past few years I’ve been fishing buddy tournaments. I went into fishing these buddy tournaments with apprehension. Would they be good ā€˜ole boys with a case of Bud in one hand and Zebco in the other or would they be guys as competitive as me? Let me tell you, I was happy to find out these guys are ultra-competitive. They’ll put a whoopin’ on you in a heartbeat and not think twice about it.
